Solsten is based in Copenhagen, where we are currently building relationships with the University of Copenhagen, and Danish innovation funds. We are a fully owned subsidiary of Social Terrain, which provides social performance evaluations and access to social finance.
With over 20 years' experience in evaluation and corporate social responsibility, Emery's expertise is focused on the evaluation of initiatives undertaken in complex environments.
After a brief career in UN humanitarian missions, he became a consultant in 1994, working for Governments, the UN and NGOs, and progressively developing services for the private sector. He delivered 86 evaluations and 5 industrial social impact assessments.
Founder in 1998 of Channel Research, a leading evaluation consultancy with a final turnover of USD 5M, which he sold to Palladium in April 2014.
Emery is a graduate of Yale University and London School of Economics, and lives in the United Kingdom.

Guy has an extensive experience with US and European banking groups, building expertise in capital markets, asset management and corporate finance.
Trained to take managerial responsibilities in the Credit Agricole Group, he was appointed in 2008 Country Manager for Vietnam. Under his leadership, a successful model of corporate and investment bank had been deployed locally.
Since 2013, as an independent consultant, he advises local business leaders and foreign companies looking to invest in Vietnam and works with Social Terrain on SME development.
Guy is a graduate of ESCP Business School.
Head of Research
Anthropologist PhD and currently Associate professor at the Department of Anthropology, University of Copenhagen, Kristina has more than 20 years’ experience with ethnographic research and fieldwork. Kristina will join Solsten in 2019.
Her experience has come out of engagements within the fields of migration, (biometric) digital technologies, health and illness, urban development and diversity.
In addition to academic work, Kristina has worked with these themes as a consultant on several NGO and Danida funded evaluations, as well as user experience consultant with a tech interaction design company.
Kristina is Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.), Anthropology and Sociology of the Copenhagen University.
